TO OUR KNOWLEDGE, the AFFORDABLE AVIATION Headrest Assemblies are the only FAA/PMA approved headrests that use an aluminum head plate.  We know of only one other approved manufacturer, however their head plate is plastic and sells for much more than ours.

1. OEM Head plates were made of plastic and failed over time.
